About
Mr. Earley is recognized as a distinguished CEO, entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record of launching and building technology companies and leading them to success. He concurrently serves at the CEO, Chairman & Founder of Sciath Ai, Inc., the Chairman of Sciath Group, a private global investment firm that forms, funds & operates a portfolio of “Smart Industry” companies in the AI/ML, security, cyber, defense, & media industries, and as Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Dunrath Capital, a venture capital firm focused on commercializing dual use technologies that has the U.S. Government’s Small Business Agency (SBA) as its largest limited partner investor. Mr. Earley is also currently a Board Member of Vitalize Venture Group, early-stage B2B and B2C technology venture capital funds, a Senior Advisor to Paladin Capital, and a Senior Board Advisor to Zuckerberg Media.
Over the past twenty years at Dunrath and Sciath, Mr. Earley has become a recognized leader at identifying single purpose oriented technologies and transforming them into multi product and market, “dual use” global companies that count the world’s largest commercial enterprises, defense contractors and governments as their customers. As the CEO/Co-Founder &/or lead operating partner for the Dunrath/Sciath companies, Mr. Earley has developed and successfully exited several technology businesses to Fortune 500 companies, including exits to IBM, Intel, HID Global, Kratos & Best Buy.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Earley co-founded and served as CEO and Chairman of Arxan Technologies Inc. (acquired by TA Associates), the global trusted leader of application protection solutions and Arxan Defense Systems Inc., (acquired by Microsemi, Nasdaq: MSCC), a software & hardware anti-tamper solutions company focused on USG foreign military sale enablement and served as President of Synergy Software Inc., a software product & IT systems integrator and is currently publicly traded as DXC Technology (DXC).
Mr. Earley is serving and has served on several corporate, non for profit and government boards, including: the Board & Advisory Boards for the University of Notre Dame’s: School of Arts and Letters, Gigot Entrepreneurial Center, Irish Angels (the second largest Midwest angel fund), & International Security Center, the U.S. State Department’s Defense Trade Advisory Board, the DHS Critical Infrastructure Protection Advisory Group, the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council, and holds a DOD clearance.
Mr. Earley earned an MBA from Benedictine University, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame and completed Harvard University’s Program for Senior Executives in National and International Security. Mr. Earley also teaches undergraduate and masters courses: “Venture Capital Fundamentals” and “Market Analysis and Go to Market Fundamentals” at the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
