About
John Vernon, J.D. is an Associate at Paladin Capital Group in Washington DC, working with the firm’s diverse portfolio and deal team. Prior to Paladin, John interned at the White House Domestic Policy Council. He helped with the integration of new and innovative technologies into domestic policy initiatives. He also interned at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy where John provided insight into issues concerning entrepreneurship, technology transfer, data management, artificial intelligence, and mental health. He earned his Juris Doctorate at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. There, he completed a concentration in Intellectual Property (IP) Law, and John was a founding member of the Villanova Capital Club, an angel network designed to support new ventures from Villanova students, professors, and alumni. John is a member of the Maryland Bar Association.
John was a consultant for enFocus, a firm based in the Midwest. He worked on big data projects for hospital networks as well as initiatives for schools, local governments, and technology companies.
He also has a Master’s of Science in Engineering and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Notre Dame.
