This round brings PhishMe’s total funding amount to more than $15 million. As part of the agreement, Raheel (Raz) Zia, Partner at Aldrich Capital, will join PhishMe’s board of directors as an observer.
During 2014, PhishMe continued its aggressive growth trajectory achieving the following key milestones:
- Revenue grew by 100% in 2014, with the 4thquarter being the largest in company history
- Headcount doubled and surpassed 100 employees with the addition of strong sales veterans from leading security vendors such as Secureworks and Websense
- Moved into a new headquarters office in Northern Virginia
- Opened offices in London and Dubai to locally serve customers in the European and Middle Eastern markets.
PhishMe now counts more than 450 enterprises, including one-third of the Fortune 100, as active customers spanning all major vertical markets. The new funds will be used to support continued aggressive company growth – staying on the leading edge of innovation, expansion of the intellectual property and product portfolios, and market leadership in delivering anti-phishing solutions both domestically and internationally.
